How do you 1v1 in CSGO?

There are many ways to set up a CSGO 1vs1 game. However, creating a private server is the easiest and most efficient way. Follow the steps below, and you are done.

Step 1. Download CS: GO 1v1 Commands

Please note that It is impossible to copy the entire list of commands into the console, so we will use a configuration file. Click the link to download the file. Save it in a place you can easily remember.

Follow these instructions:

1. Download 1v1_commmands.cfg

2. Click Steam > LIBRARY, right-click Counter Strike Global Offensive, and select Properties.

3. First, click the Local tab. Then click Browse local.

4. Find the CSGO configuration folder and copy the 1v1 commands above.

Step 2. Choose a 1v1 Map

Once you have created the config file, it is time to make an arena for your fights. You can skip this step if you already have a 1v1 map that you wish to use.

Note: While you can use the default CSGO maps, most players don’t like them. These maps are large enough to make it more difficult for players to run around and fight with one another.

The Steam Workshop has many maps. The community created these maps and intended to be used in 1v1 matches.

Here are the top CS: GO 1v1 maps. Click on the map image you like, and then click Subscribe.

The map will be automatically downloaded when you next open the game after subscribing.

Step 3. Launch the 1v1

Once you have your config file and maps, you can launch a private server you and your friend may join. Here are the steps to create a 1v1 server.

1. Join the lobby

2. Select Workshop maps to choose the game mode you want to play.

3. Invite your opponent into the lobby

4. Choose the goal map that you wish to play on.

5. Start the game.

6. Start the configuration file that you downloaded in Step 1.

Type the console command into your developer console to run the configuration file. If it isn’t, go to your CSGO settings and Game Setting. Select Yes from the Enable Designer Console dropdown.
